Original productions are the essence of JazzOp, one of the main events organised by the Blue Note Orchestra Association which formed the Sardinian Jazz Orchestra in 1989.

The festival hosts musical projects and premieres of works for large ensembles, commissioned from leading exponents of the international jazz scene.
